Julie L. Smith, CMP

Julie has managed and delivered world-class marketing programs throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America for the past fifteen years. Clients continually recognize Julie’s attention to detail while focusing on the big picture, strategic and creative thinking, ability to deliver marketing and business strategies that achieve results, cost-savings skills, professionalism, and straightforward communications. She has been called a “brilliant marketing strategist,” “an exceptional communicator,” and “a trusted advisor.”

Since 2003, Julie has been active in the Philadelphia Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (PAMPI), serving on various committees and spending six years on the board of directors, including two terms as Vice President, Education. She currently serves as the chair of the Technology and Awards committees. Julie was named the Planner of the Year by the chapter in 2006. This award is presented in recognition of outstanding association/industry/community contributions, leadership, and professionalism, and the award recognizes a career of involvement, commitment, and achievement. Julie was recently named the 2010 Chapter Leader of the Year, an annual award presented to recognize the local commitment of a member in influencing the life of the chapter. The award focuses on cumulative service with an emphasis on the current fiscal year, and is based upon the ability of the recipient to motivate others, stimulate volunteer functions, give a sense of direction, and to act as a catalyst to cause exceptional results that benefit the chapter.

Julie is also a member of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and currently serves on the board of directors for the chapter.

Julie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from High Point University in North Carolina, and she became a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) in 1999. Previously, Smith was a software design consultant for a development company that specialized in designing applications for the financial and pharmaceutical industries.

Chad C. Sauerbry, MCP

Chad's keen understanding of technology and its place in today’s business environment is instrumental in developing OpenSpark's services and solutions.  His strategic thinking abilities combined with his absolute focus on delivering the best possible experience to clients are a critical component to OpenSpark.   Clients consistently recognize Chad as "an indispensible resource" and "an exceptional problem solver."

Chad received his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management from The College of New Jersey. He also has earned MCP and MCSE certifications. Previously, Chad was the Director of Information Technology for a leading Philadelphia-area real estate company and CEO of CSIT, a Phoenix, AZ based company providing Information Technology services and solutions to small and medium businesses, as well as to home users.
